Announcing this great new paddle come for the 2026 season. We will be offering a float where people will meet at the Hardin Valley Event Center and be shuttled upstream for a 2 hour float back to their car.
We are showcasing the stretch from the sports complex down to Hardin Valley. Beaver Creek spans nearly the entirety of Knox County, beginning as a spring in Gibbs and flowing 44 miles into Fort Loudoun Lake. The watershed winds through five communities before emptying into the Clinch River.
The grassroots Beaver Creek Kayak Club and Legacy Parks has led the effort of making Beaver Creek the perfect place to paddle in our community. In collaboration with Knox County the two have undertaken the giant task of cleaning and clearing the creek of debris so that it a more navigable and healthy creek.
