Knox Water Trail

Tucked into the heart of Hardin Valley, a new paddling experience is taking shape on the calm, scenic waters of Beaver Creek. This season, Knoxville Adventure Collective is proud to launch a two-hour float that offers an easygoing, immersive way to explore one of Knox County’s most promising blueways. With a smooth shuttle included, guests can simply arrive, gear up, and enjoy a relaxing downstream paddle through quiet stretches of creek, shaded banks, and gentle current—perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking to unwind on the water.


Our new home base at the Hardin Valley Event Center creates an ideal launch point for this experience. With convenient access, ample parking, and room to grow, it allows us to expand programming while keeping things simple and welcoming for guests. This addition reflects the incredible momentum happening across Knox County’s waterways. We will be offering a float where people will meet at the Hardin Valley Event Center and be shuttled upstream for a 2 hour float back to their car. 


Through the vision and investment of Knox County and Legacy Parks Foundation, the Knox Water Trail—often called the Knox Paddle Trail—continues to connect communities to their rivers and creeks like never before. From access points to signage and stewardship, this growing network is opening the door for more people to experience East Tennessee from the water, and Beaver Creek is an exciting next chapter in that story.
